João Carlos Areosa has been practicing for over 15 years in consulting and complex dispute resolution before national and international arbitration chambers, all levels of the Brazilian Judiciary and before administrative instances, notably CVM and Central Bank.
Master in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School, with emphasis on arbitration and complex litigation, Master in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, specialist in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from FGV-Rio, and graduated of PUC-Rio.
Professor and lecturer in graduate courses, author of articles in collections, newspapers and specialized magazines, and member of the list of Arbitrators of the Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation of Agribusiness (CAMAGRO).
He was a partner at Mattos Engelberg Echenique Advogados and worked at law firms such as Machado Meyer Advogados, Barbosa Mussnich Aragão Advogados, Tauil e Chequer e Bocater Camargo Costa e Silva Rodrigues Advogados.

Guilherme Peres de Oliveira has worked in strategic civil litigation and arbitration for over 18 years, with extensive experience in complex claims before the Judiciary, arbitration chambers, and administrative bodies. He has held leadership positions at renowned law firms and served as Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General of the OAB-RJ.
He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, as well as a Law degree from PUC-Rio. He teaches in postgraduate programs and is also the author of specialized books and articles. In addition, he actively participates in academic boards and public examinations. He served as Assistant Secretary of the OAB-RJ Ethics Court and is a member of the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).

Rafael Guarilha P. de Freitas is specialized in contractual and corporate matters. He has extensive experience in consulting and dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial contracts, engineering contracts and corporate disputes.
In the area of dispute resolution, he has acted for controlling shareholders and minority shareholders in corporate disputes before arbitration chambers and at all levels of the Judiciary. He also represents companies from various sectors in commercial disputes and credit recovery operations, such as construction companies, real estate developers, electricity companies and financial institutions.
He has experience in the business area and has participated in several mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity issuance operations in Brazil and abroad. In the insolvency area, he has participated in numerous judicial reorganization processes, notably in the judicial reorganization of one of Brazil’s largest oil and gas construction companies.
He holds an LLM in Business Law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, an LLM in Commercial Law from PUC-SP, a Certificate in Business and Law from the Wharton School and a BA from Universidade Cândido Mendes.
