Wolmar Francisco Amélio Esteves has been practicing Tax Law for more than 28 years, experienced in special leading cases, complex advisory cases and litigations, involving federal, state and municipal taxation, mainly on regulatory taxation of agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and technology.
He graduated from Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and holds two postgraduate degrees: one in Foreign Trade from Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR), and another in Agrofinance Law from University Center of Maringá (Cesumar).
He is also a member of the OAB/SP Tax Law and Constitutional Law Committees, the Contemporary Tax Law Institute and the Legal Committee of the Brazilian Rural Society.
For several consecutive years, Wolmar has been recognized among the best Brazilian tax lawyers in the publications The Legal 500, Análise Advocacia, and International Tax Review. In 2021, he was elected Brazil’s leading tax lawyer of the year by the Client Choice Awards ranking.
